A new survey by Child's Play Communications reveals that 14.6% of moms prefer handmade gifts for Mother's Day followed by a day off (13.6%) and a spa day (12.9%). Other findings:
- only 1.3% of moms want breakfast in bed for Mother's Day
- 25.6% of moms expect handmade gifts from their children for Mother's Day. Others anticipate getting greeting cards (31.9%), flowers (19.6%) and dinner out (15.5%).
- Worst Mother's Day gifts: vacuum cleaners, kitchen appliances, jumper cables and weed eaters.
- 21.3% of moms won't receive a Mother's Day gift
