Star 103.7 is looking for individuals or organizations who are making a difference in our community. 


The Community Stars Program is designed to recognize those individuals, businesses or organizations who are selflessly committing their time and effort into making our city, our family lives and the world a better place to live.
 

ENTER YOUR COMMUNITY STAR BELOW

 

A Community Star could be someone who volunteers in a nonprofit organization, a school, hospital or nursing home; but a Community Star could also be someone who quietly helps others as well. It could be a young person helping an elderly person, or an organization or family supplying food to another needy family.



Friend's With Flowers - May 25th
Carrie nominated her friend Kitty who began one of 5 nation wide chapters of Friend's With Flowers.

 


 
Myron - June 1
Amy Young and the Folks at the KECU Loan Department Nominated Myron to be a community star because he does so much around the community and is great check out the video to learn more!




Leitha Harris - June 8
Leitha Harris and the Girl Scouts nominated for their efforts to further the community in many ways watch the interview here.

 


Cindy Murray - June 15
Cindy was nominated by her friends & Co workers at Meritor. She does a lot for the community from helping neighbors to being a secret angel at the Kings Center.

 


Jerry Milburn - June 22
Jerry was nominated by his wife Jackie for his idea and development of common4kids.org a charitable orginization providing baseball cards to gorups like ronald McDonald House and Big Brother Big Sister.


 

Bethany Patton - June 29
