Carrie Underwood may be gearing up for the biggest performance of her life. Sports blog TerezOwens.com reports that Underwood is in talks to headline the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show. As the site reports, Underwood already has string ties with the league. In addition to taking over for Faith Hill in performing the theme song for NBC’s Sunday Night Football last year, Underwood performed the national anthem at Super Bowl XLIV in 2010, and performed with Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler at Super Bowl XLVI’s Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam. It was also recently announced that the “Blown Away” singer will take part in the 2015 Super Bowl pre-game kickoff video.

On last night's episode of the Tonight Show, Taylor Swift made an appearance in the latest installment of Jimmy Fallon's "Ew!." The singer rocked braces and huge glasses to play "Nerdy Natalie" and talk with Sara (an annoying teenage girl played by Fallon) about all the things they consider to be "ew." Natalie revealed that she loves apricots, has a band-aid collection, enjoys building popsicle-stick castles, and has invented a fictional animal called a "pegacorn." The two teens also gave their advice on whether or not you should ever get back together with an ex. The answer, of course, was "Never ever ever ever..."

Justin Bieber struck a plea deal yesterday in his Miami Beach DUI case, in which he'll take anger management classes and pay a $500 fine in exchange for dodging a DUI charge. Bieber pleaded guilty to careless driving and resisting an officer without violence. He now has to attend a 12-hour anger management course and make a $50,000 charitable donation. "He just hopefully will get the message," said a judge at yesterday's hearing. "He will grow up. He will use his talents positively for young persons." Now that's wishful thinking!

Nicki Minaj will make her first solo VMAs performance this year, as she's just been added to the lineup for the MTV telecast on August 24. Minaj will perform her single "Anaconda," which is also expected to appear on her upcoming album The Pink Print, slated for release sometime in the last three months of 2014. Minaj's two previous VMAs performances were a 2012 rendition of "Girl on Fire" alongside Alicia Keys and a pre-show performance for the 2010 VMAs. She's also won two VMA Awards, one for 2011's "Super Bass" and another for 2012's "Starships."
