NASCAR champion Tony Stewart struck and killed another driver during a race in upstate New York Saturday night, leading the three-time Sprint Cup winner to withdraw from Sunday's cup race. Video of the fatal accident at Canandaigua Motorsports Park shows sprint car driver Kevin Ward Jr. climb out of his car and walk onto the racetrack, apparently in an attempt to confront Stewart about an accident. Ward, dressed in black, is seen approaching Stewart's car before being struck and thrown 50 feet down the track. Ward, 20, was pronounced dead Saturday night. The county sheriff investigating the accident says there are no criminal charges pending at this time.
