Lindsay Lohan’s much-criticized OWN reality show Lindsay came to a strangely abrupt and serious ending last night, as the actress revealed that she suffered a miscarriage during the filming of the series. “No one knows this, and we can finish after this, I had a miscarriage for the two weeks that I took off,” she said on the verge of tears, during her final “confessional” with the producers. After a long pause, she added, “It’s a very long story." Lindsay provided no other details. She also did not identify the father of her child.

TMZ is reporting that Gwen Stefani will replace Christina Aguilera as coach on Season 7 of The Voice. Multiple sources connected to the hit NBC show are claiming that, due to Christina's pregnancy, Gwen will be taking over her spot on the singing competition series, which begins filming its new season in June. Although the No Doubt frontwoman's job wouldn't be permanent, she would get to coach alongside newcomer Pharrell Williams and longtime mentors Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Aguilera will reportedly rotate back into her spinning chair for Season 8.

Meow -- there's a boy band battle brewing! Nick Carter took to Twitter on Friday to respond to 'N Sync singer Joey Fatone's recent diss that the Backstreet Boys are still touring because "they just need the money." Carter tweeted, "Just disappointed, I really liked Joey... I'm proud of who we are and love what we stand for. Truthfully it's about not letting our fans down. Sorry bro, but you have us all wrong." In his HuffPo interview, Joey had also boasted that 'N Sync wouldn't ever do a reunion tour because they're too busy "doing their own thing." Presumably, by "they," he meant Justin Timberlake.

Shakira recently emptied out her purse for Us Weekly's celebrity column "What's in My Bag?" The Columbian singer dished that she always carries her passport, vitamins and lollipops to satisfy her sweet tooth. And she keeps close a Revlon eyelash curler and Crest 3D Whitestrips. Shakira also admitted that she is obsessed with playing games on her iPhone. "My iPhone 5 has music apps, like Pandora and Spotify, and I am addicted to playing Candy Crush and Ms. Pac-Man -- total guilty pleasures," she revealed.

NBC has announced plans to air a three-hour live television special in honor of the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Live next year. The special, which will feature past and present cast members, as well as guest hosts and musical acts from the show’s entire run, will air February 15, 2015. "Saturday Night Live is an institution unlike anything else in television history," said Robert Greenblatt, chairman of NBC Entertainment, in a statement. The specific lineup of guests, which could potentially include Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal, Mike Myers, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, and Amy Poehler, among others, will be determined in coming months.

Barbie may be feeling her age. Its creator, Mattel, posted its first loss in five years as sales of the iconic doll brand tumbled sharply. Mattel says weak sales of Barbie and markdowns to clear out excess inventory left over from a sluggish holiday season led to an unexpected first-quarter loss of $11 million. First-quarter sales of the 55-year-old doll line slumped 14 percent, but the bad news for Mattel doesn’t stop there. The company’s worldwide sales fell 5 percent to $946.2 million and the toy giant reported a net loss of $11 million.
Pop-rock act Neon Trees will release their third album, Pop Psychology, led by single “Sleeping with a Friend.” Augustana, best known for their 2005 single, “Boston,” is set to release their fifth record, Life Imitating Life. The album is Augustana’s first release since their 2011 self-titled album, and the first project recorded solely by frontman Daniel Layus. Sebastian Bach, former vocalist of heavy metal group Skid Row, will release Give Em’ Hell, his fifth solo album. And rapper Iggy Azalea will debut The New Classic, her first studio album with Island Records.
