God's Plentiful Pantry

Starting on August 2 there will be a street Ministry for those in need. The Ministry will be set up on the Pic Pac parking lot from 10am-12pm (or until all packages are gone) handing out care packages. The Food Pantry will be open on the 3rd Saturday each month from 10am-12pm. All food is given on a first come first served basis. Call 502-875-4710 for more info

 
 

Stand Up To Cancer

In an exciting partnership with Stand Up To Cancer, the American Cancer Society will host viewing parties across the nation on Friday, September 5th to watch the televised fundraising special executive produced by Emmy-winning producer Joel Gallen and Gwyneth Paltrow. This primetime special will deliver one-of-a-kind performances from top recording artists and celebrities from film and television, as well as feature powerful cancer patient stories that illustrate the remarkable progress that SU2C has made in cancer research over the last few years.

Furever Friends Pet Adoption Expo

In partnership with the Scott County 4-H Dog Club, the Relay For Life of Scott County invites you to bring the kids & your 4 legged friends for an afternoon of fun to support the fight against cancer. Events will include: food vendors, entertainment, dog costume contest, dog games & demonstrations, kid’s activities, cancer survivor recognition ceremony, luminary and walk, and sky lantern release.  Online pre-registration before 10/25 is $15 ($10 per additional dog), on-site registration is $20 ($15 per addition dog), and the first 100 dogs will receive a purple bandana!
