DO YOU TEXT MORE THAN YOU TALK? Is it possible you interact with people more through technology than in real life? A new study conducted by the University of Michigan says it's very possible. In a survey of three-thousand people, the average person reported about 75 face-to-face conversations per month, compared to 74 electronic interactions through technology, which includes Facebook, Twitter, e-mail and Skype. Communication specialist Miti Ampoma, author of The Innovative: Communicator, warns that when a person relies on technology to communicate they are more likely to be misunderstood or viewed as unsociable. Ampoma recommends allocating two or more hours per week for human face time. (Women's Health)
