Talk about awkward. Kanye West stopped in the middle of his Sydney, Australia, show on Friday to call out two audience members for remaining seated when he'd asked them to dance -- only to find out that they were in wheelchairs. "I decided I can't do this song," the rapper declared. "I can't do the rest of the show until everybody stands up. Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t." The rapper realized his mistake when the woman sitting down waved her prosthetic limb at him. Meanwhile, fans near the second fan tried to communicate with Kanye by making "wheelchair motions." However, Kanye refused to continue the show until one of his entourage members confirmed that the man was indeed unable to stand up.

In the new issue of Porter magazine, Martha Stewart makes it very clear that she isn't impressed by Gwyneth Paltrow and her lifestyle brand Goop. "She just needs to be quiet -- she's a movie star," Stewart says. "If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn't be trying to be Martha Stewart." Oh snap! Stewart also takes on actress Taylor Schilling, who stars in Netflix's hit show Orange Is the New Black. Having spent time in prison herself, Stewart says the dramedy about women behind bars had the potential to be stellar, but that Schilling "is not good enough" to have been cast as the series' lead actress. Ouch.

Joan Rivers, who died last week at the age of 81, once declared, "I want my funeral to be a big showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action." The legendary comedian got her wish Sunday at a star-studded memorial held at Temple Emanu-El in New York City. The paparazzi went wild taking pictures of guests as they walked in, among them Barbara Walters, Sarah Jessica Parker, Donald Trump, and Whoopi Goldberg. Rivers' daughter Melissa read a heartfelt letter and Howard Stern paid tribute by calling the late Fashion Police host his "hero," and commending her for being "a troublemaker, trail blazer, pioneer for comics everywhere, never apologizing and never caring what people thought." Making the funeral even more fabulous: The New York City Gay Men's Chorus performed several numbers, and Hugh Jackman honored her by singing the Broadway tune "Quiet Please, There's a Lady on Stage." Leave it to Rivers to put the "fun" in "funeral."

The alleged alternate ending of How I Met Your Mother, which was scheduled to be released on September 23 as a bonus feature on the complete series DVD box set, leaked Saturday. It looks back at Ted's past girlfriends, his complicated relationship with Robin and finally, his fateful encounter with Tracy, the show's titular mother, at the train station. The two marry and Ted is heard saying at the end of the episode, "And that kids, is how I met your mother." Interestingly, the alternate is a far more satisfying and upbeat ending to the show than the real one. Many fans took to social media to express their outrage back in March when the finale aired and revealed that Ted ended up with Robin after Tracy died.

"WTF? Just saw this. Horrendous," Carey tweeted Friday evening. "These kids should be arrested and expelled." Carey went on to pledge $10,000 to the Bay Village Police Department in Ohio, and also promised that he'd donate the same amount to Autism Speaks if the police find the students responsible without reward money.

Legendary comedienne Joan Rivers, who never shied away from off-color topics or skewering celebs, passed away yesterday afternoon at the age of 81. The tireless Fashion Police host went into cardiac arrest during a throat procedure last week and was rushed to New York's Mt. Sinai Hospital, where she died while surrounded by family and friends. "My mother's greatest joy in life was to make people laugh," her daughter, Melissa Rivers, said. "Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon." As for funerals, Rivers once wrote that they are "just a red carpet show for dead people," adding, "It's a chance for mourners from all walks of life to accessorize in basic black, and to make a fashion statement that is bold enough to draw attention away from the bereaved but subtle enough so that no one knows that it's happening.

Anna Kendrick: RIP Joan Rivers. Being publicly told that my dress is hideous will never feel quite as awesome. You will be truly missed.

David Letterman "Here's a woman, a real pioneer for other women looking for careers in stand-up comedy. And talk about guts—she would come out here and sit in this chair and say some things that were unbelievable, just where you would have to swallow pretty hard… but it was hilarious… the force of her comedy was overpowering."

Amy Poehler "What a full life. Every woman in comedy is indebted to her. She was there at the beginning and funny to the end. RIP Joan"

Carol Burnett: "I knew Joan for 50 years, and she was always fun, charming and sweet to be with, and funny as hell. She was also the poster child for the 'Energizer Bunny!' My love goes out to Melissa and Cooper. I am very sad today."

Nancy Reagan: "Joan Rivers was not only a dear friend, but one of the kindest and funniest people I ever knew. I doubt there's anyone who hasn't laughed at her or with her until they cried. Today our tears are those of sadness. I know I join millions in saying, "Thanks for the good times Joan, we will truly miss you. My love and deepest sympathy go to Melissa and Cooper."

Ryan Seacrest "Joan was a trailblazer in so many ways, and I greatly admired her talent and humor. She was a colleague and friend, as we worked together on E!, and she was also a treasured guest on my radio show many times. Regardless of the forum, Joan was full of funny, witty surprises and she had so much spirit. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Melissa and her family."

Don Rickles: "Our dear Joan is gone. Knowing her, working with he and enjoying the fun times of life with her was special. She will always be in our hearts. She was a good friend to Barbara and I. Melissa, be strong and take care of your son Cooper. Joan…we will miss you."

Barbara Walters "No one loved life, laughter, and a good time more than Joan. We would have dinner and laugh and gossip and I always left the table smiling. She was a brassy, often outrageous, and hilarious performer who made millions laugh. In private, she was the picture of elegance and class. I will miss her."

Miss Piggy: "Moi is deeply saddened by the passing of my friend and fellow legend, Joan Rivers. From our first appearance together as battling make-up counter girls in "The Muppets Take Manhattan" to our recent appearances together on QVC (Joan called it "The Thrilla in Manolos"), we were always two of a kind. I will miss her. Can we talk? You bet we can, Joan! Forever and ever!"

Scarlett Johansson is officially a mama! The actress and her fiance, French journalist Romain Dauriac, welcomed a daughter named Rose on Thursday. (Apparently, some celebrities are capable of picking baby names that won't lead to bulling on the playground.) The AP reports that "mother and daughter are doing well." Here's hoping that the 29-year-old actress' little girl takes after her in the looks department.

Ariana Grande capped off a busy week of promotional work by delivering a pitch-perfect performance of the National Anthem at last night's NFL opener between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers. Billboard reports that the singer took the field before the game wearing a bedazzled Seahawks jersey and something you might not expect from the fashionista: a pair of jeans. She went on to belt out the hard-to-sing anthem like it was nothing. Prior to Grande's performance, Soundgarden and Pharrell played a free concert for fans outside the stadium.

It appears that the reports of Betty White's death have been greatly exaggerated. The confusion began when satirical website Empire News published a headline on Wednesday that read, "Actress Betty White, 92, dyes peacefully in her Los Angeles home." The story was intended to be a tongue-in-cheek piece about the Golden Girls star not being a natural blonde. Unfortunately, many fans were confused by the wordplay and took to social media to mourn her death. White's agent has since assured the Los Angeles Times that White is doing just fine. "She is on the set shooting Hot in Cleveland right now," he said.

Blake Shelton and Jimmy Fallon went head-to-head in a game of Random Object Football Toss on last night's episode of The Tonight Show. Each contestant took turns throwing random objects -- including a mannequin head and an eight-layer chip dip -- into a target. After all five rounds, Shelton won. The final score? A rather unimpressive 1-0. Later, Shelton performed his hit song "Neon Lights."

The opportunity to connect with our nation's audience on a daily basis... icing on the cake! Very happy."

Joan Rivers is still on life support, her daughter revealed in an updated statement on Tuesday. "On behalf of my mother and our family, we are extremely grateful for all the love and support we've received. At this time she does remain on life support," the statement from Melissa Rivers read. "I know my mother would be overwhelmed by the continued outpouring of kindness and I want to thank everyone for keeping us in their prayers." Meanwhile, the E! network announced that it has suspended filming of Fashion Police, with a spokesperson confirming, "We await Joan and Melissa's return in front and behind the camera."

Bad news for parents who are sick of their kids obsessing over Frozen: Walt Disney Pictures announced on Tuesday that a mini-sequel to the record-breaking film is coming in the spring of 2015. Frozen Fever will follow Elsa (Idina Menzel) and Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) as they plan a birthday party for Anna (Kristen Bell). Olaf (Josh Gad) will also grace viewers with his goofy presence. It is expected that all of the original voice actors will reprise their roles for the new project. Meanwhile, Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the Oscar-winning songwriting duo behind "Let It Go" and "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" will compose a new song for the movie.

TBS has pulled the plug on CeeLo Green's unscripted series The Good Life following the awful statements about rape that Green tweeted and deleted over the weekend. While sources claim that the series was cancelled because of low ratings, the decision does come shortly after women's rights group UltraViolet petitioned the network to cancel the show. Green initially made headlines last week, when he pleaded no contest to a felony count of furnishing ecstasy to and assaulting a woman. He later posted a series of tweets over the weekend in which he implied that women can only be raped if they are conscious.

During his appearance on the Tonight Show, Adam Levine went up against Jimmy Fallon in a game called Wheel of Musical Impressions. Each party had to press a button that served as a "musical impressions generator," which would then randomly provide an artist and a song title. The two then had to impersonate the artist singing said song. Levine came out on top when he nailed impressions of Frank Sinatra singing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes," Michael Jackson singing the Sesame Street theme song and Eddie Vedder singing "The Muffin Man. Meanwhile, Fallon did a solid impersonation of Bob Dylan singing "Rude" and an awful one of Iggy Azalea singing "Old McDonald Had a Farm." Following the game, Levine's band Maroon 5 performed "Maps."

Justin Bieber was arrested near his hometown in Canada on Friday after a crash between an ATV and a minivan, and now faces charges of dangerous driving and assault. Apparently Bieber and the driver got into a physical altercation after the crash, and Bieber was briefly taken into custody near Stratford, Ontario. Bieber and Selena Gomez were photographed riding the four-wheeler together that same day. Bieber is on probation for two years after the egging case in L.A., so this arrest could trigger a violation. "Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's peaceful retreat in Stratford this weekend was unfortunately disrupted by the unwelcome presence of the paparazzi," Brian Greenspan, Bieber's Toronto lawyer, said yesterday. "This has regrettably resulted in charges of dangerous driving and assault. Mr. Bieber and Ms. Gomez have fully cooperated in the police investigation. We are hopeful that this matter will be quickly resolved."

"Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me," Spears said during her Aug. 31 performance. "But the best part of breaking up is going on first dates. OMG, OMG, I need a hot guy. Where are the hot guys here tonight?" Following her rant, Spears pulled celebrity blogger Perez Hilton from the audience for a special performance of her song "Freakshow." "@britneyspears just made me her b**ch -- literally!" Hilton tweeted after returning to his front row seat in the Axis Theater. "Hope @Rihanna doesn't get jealous! It was like the Circus tour opening 2.0."

Jennifer Lawrence and Ariana Grande are just two of the celebrities who were involved in an online hacking campaign over the weekend that resulted in a number of alleged nude photos being leaked. Gawker reports that the images, which Lawrence's rep has since confirmed were real, were posted on website 4chan on Sunday around 4 p.m., after being stolen from various celebrity iCloud accounts earlier in the week. Meanwhile, a rep for Grande has released a statement claiming that the images of the "Problem" singer are fake. Other stars who were targeted in the leak were Lea Michele, Avril Lavigne, Hilary Duff, Victoria Justice, Kate Upton, and Selena Gomez, among others.

According to the magazine, each child played an important role in the ceremony: Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, escorted their mom down the aisle; Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, served as flower girls; and Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, were ring bearers. Brangelina's brood also helped the couple write their vows and Pax baked the wedding cake. "It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," the couple told People. "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg got married at Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois, on Sunday evening. Us Weekly reports that the ceremony lasted just 20 minutes and included only close family and friends. Back in July, McCarthy admitted to the magazine that she wasn't interested in planning a fairytale wedding. "The problem is, I consider myself to be kind of like a dude," she explained. "Like, I just kind of want to show up and drink." The former View co-host and the New Kids on the Block alum were engaged for just four months before dying the knot. Wahlberg popped the question in April.

Joan Rivers' daughter, Melissa Rivers, has released a statement about the Fashion Police host's condition. "I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother," it reads. "She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers." Rivers was placed in a medically induced coma yesterday after suffering cardiac arrest while undergoing surgery on her vocal cords at a New York clinic. She is currently in stable yet critical condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, where doctors expect to bring her out of the coma sometime this weekend. The 81-year-old Rivers was seen performing as recently as Wednesday night, when she joked that she could "go at any moment."

The stars of Mr. & Mrs. Smith are now officially Mr. and Mrs. Pitt. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married in France on Saturday, nine years after they first started dating. The ceremony also comes two years after they announced their engagement in 2012. The nuptials took place at Chateau Miraval in the south of France. (Fun fact: The chateau produces a rose wine called "Pink Floyd.") Brangelina's six kids took part in the ceremony, with Jolie being walked down the aisle by her two oldest sons, and daughter Shiloh and son Knox serving as ring bearers.

Britney Spears is a single lady once more! TMZ reports that the "Perfume" singer has dumped her boyfriend of 18 months, David Lucado, after video surfaced of him cheating on her. The video, which Spears heard about through her father Jamie, allegedly shows Lucado making out and dancing with another woman. It is believed to have been filmed in August. Spears announced her new-found freedom on Thursday with a tweet that read, "Ahhhh the single life!" Her rep has since confirmed the split, telling the media, "Yes, she's single." Spears and Lucado had dated for over a year, appearing in public shortly after Spears ended her engagement with Jason Trawick in 2013.

It doesn't look like Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will be reconciling anytime soon. Photos have emerged of the diva, 45, hitting the streets of Tribeca, New York, without her wedding ring. Accompanying Carey were her and Cannon's 3-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. Meanwhile, the America's Got Talent host, 33, appeared on the show sans wedding band on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Since Cannon confirmed that the couple is living separately, there has been plenty of speculation about the cause of trouble in their marriage, ranging from suggestions that Cannon cheated to Carey being tired of her younger husband's partying ways.

On last night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host announced that ABC will air the live musical production of Annie on November 3. To celebrate the news, he had his guest, singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, dress up as the ginger orphan and give the audience a sneak preview of the production. However, once the audience started snickering, Sheeran turned to Kimmel and said, "Jimmy, I can't f**king do this, man. I'm sorry." Later during his interview, Sheeran dished that he once spend the night at Courteney Cox's house because he was invited to a party there and didn't have a car to get home. He also performed his hit song "Don't."

Kanye West doesn't hate the paparazzi -- in fact, his dad used to be one. The rapper, who is accused of assault by celebrity photographer Daniel Ramos, shared the information this week in a civil lawsuit deposition. "My father was a paparazzo himself," he said. "(He) didn't raise me to be out here wrestling with random paparazzi in front of LAX." Kanye also explained that he was stressed about his sick grandfather at the time the incident took place. Referencing his run-in with Ramos, Kim Kardashian's husband said, "And this guy is asking me about dumb s**t. So, you know, I'm sorry that I tried to grab his camera, but I obviously didn't try to hurt him. I'm not here to hurt people."

On last night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow reunited to act out Jimmy Kimmel's fan-fiction script of Friends. Kimmel played Ross in the sketch, which featured Rachel, Monica and Phoebe talking about how great he was in bed. When Aniston and her former co-stars asked Kimmel why the characters of Joey and Chandler were missing from the story, he explained, "They're dead. Marcel the monkey bit them and gave them monkey rabies, and they died.

Outkast’s André “3000” Benjamin recently revealed that playing Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming biopic Jimi: All Is By My Side was something he needed to do. “Hendrix kind of saved me,” says Benjamin, who initially turned down the role several times. “I needed something to focus on to get me out of my depression and rut.” Benjamin goes on to say that he chose to be involved with this particular Hendrix project because it focused on the things that made Hendrix into the artist he became. Meanwhile, a new clip from the film was also released yesterday. That clip shows Benjamin and actress Hayley Atwell, as Hendrix’s then girlfriend Kathy Etchingham, being confronted by a British police officer that has issue with him wearing a military jacket.

Diane Sawyer, the only female evening-news anchor currently on television, signed off ABC's World News last night. Sawyer thanked her viewers and expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve as an anchor on the show for five years. "It has been wonderful to be the home port for the brave and brilliant forces of ABC News around the world and to feel every single night you and I were in a conversation about the day together," she said. "Sometimes, as we know, there have been tough stories but you always made it clear, like me, you believed that better will come, that the future is one of possibility." Sawyer also made it clear that she is not retiring, but rather "moving upstairs" where she will continue to work on ABC’s news team.
