Scotty McCreery was at a friend's apartment when three burglars burst in and robbed the country singer and his four companions at gunpoint in the wee hours yesterday morning. The stickup occurred around 2 a.m. in Raleigh, where McCreery is a student at North Carolina State University. McCreery and his comrades were forced to lay facedown on the floor while one of the assailants held a gun to their heads, according to WRAL-TV. Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the incident, although the suspects, who remain at large, did make off with the victims' cellphones and wallets. On his Facebook page, McCreery thanked the Raleigh police for "their quick response and hard work" in investigating the case. "t was definitely a very scary night," he added.
Adele dropped some major hints that a new album is on the way on the eve of her 26th birthday. On Monday, the singer tweeted, “Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x,” along with a picture of her flashing a very tentative thumbs up. While no details have been released about an upcoming album, the message seems to suggest that the singer will release an album titled 25 later this year. In other words, she may not have “Set Fire to the Rain,” but she’s definitely fueling the flame.
Megan Fox stopped by Ellen on Monday, where the actress revealed that both her pregnancies came as a bit of a surprise. Explaining that she became pregnant with her second son, Bodhi, just two weeks into filming the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, Fox told DeGeneres: “[It's] an action movie and requires a lot of running and jumping and stunts … anyone that’s been pregnant knows your first trimester can be pretty rough and you’re nauseous all day long.” The actress went on to say that any free time she had on set was spent snacking and keeping her morning sickness at bay. "I spent the whole shoot basically on the verge of vomiting," she said.
Seth Rogen ripped Justin Bieber yesterday on Howard Stern. He said: "I met him a few times. He's a good example of someone, who you meet, who you think you are going to hate and then you get to hate him ... you meet him and he lives up to every one of your expectations. I saw him again at like an MTV awards show, he literally had a snake wrapped around his f****** wrist that he was wearing," Rogen explained. "I talked to him for like five minutes. ... No humility, no awareness, no sense that 'I appeal to young, young people, maybe a grown man who works in comedy doesn't f****** give a s*** about me. Maybe I should act in such a way that perhaps this isn't the great experience of his f****** life.'"
