Joan Rivers is standing by the controversial joke she made Tuesday on TODAY, where she complained that her daughter's guest room was smaller than the basement the three captives shared in Ariel Castro's dungeon. After attorneys for two of the victims, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, demanded an apology, the 80-year-old Rivers took it even farther. "They got to live rent free for more than a decade," she told TMZ on Wednesday. "One of them has a book deal. Neither are in a psych ward. They're ok. I bet you within three years one of them will be on Dancing With the Stars.

Justin Bieber has apologized for praying at a war shrine in Tokyo this week, inadvertently offending those who believe the shrine an affront to other Asian cultures. The shrine honors 2.5 million war dead, including 14 convicted war criminals. China and South Korea consider the shrine a symbol of Japan's past militarism and believe that visiting it shows a lack of understanding or remorse over wartime history. Bieber Instagrammed photos Tuesday night showing himself praying at the shrine. He's since removed them and posted, "I was misled to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer. To anyone I have offended, I am extremely sorry."

The soundtrack to Disney's Frozen earned its biggest sales week yet in the days leading up to Easter, which allowed it to sit pretty at #1 on on the Billboard 200 for the 11th week in a row. The soundtrack has now surpassed the success of The Lion King, which held the spot for 10 weeks as the longest-running #1 soundtrack by an animated film. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the Frozen soundtrack sold 259,000 copies in the week ending April 20. That's up a whopping 94 percent compared with the previous week, when the album shifted 133,000 at #1.

Meg Ryan has been cast as the narrator for CBS’ How I Met Your Mother spinoff. The actress has landed the unseen vocal role in the How I Met Your Dad pilot, which is considered an obvious front-runner for a series order for CBS’ schedule next season. She’ll supply the voice of “future Sally” (played during the series in flashback by Greta Gerwig), the same way Bob Saget supplied the voice for future Ted in HIMYM. Like Saget, her character will never be seen.
