Beyoncé has a 4-year-old half-brother named Nixon Alexander Knowles, whom her father had when he had an affair with Alexsandra Wright. Now, Wright is teling In Touch Weekly that Knowles has failed to pay child support and that she and her son have been forced to go on food stamps and move into a Los Angeles homeless shelter. "Nixon deserves to know his family, and I hope one day he will meet his sister Beyoncé," Wright says. "I can't imagine how Beyoncé feels knowing she has a homeless brother. I know if I were in the same position, I would reach out. Maybe she is too busy."

New Yorkers do not like Nick Cannon. Footage has gone viral of the America's Got Talent host jumping on the court at Madison Square Garden last week to film a surprise segment for his show. The audience responded with a very loud three-minute chorus of booing. Ouch. At least Cannon has his vow renewals with wife Mariah Carey to look forward to...

For fans of How I Met Your Mother who felt betrayed by the finale last week, the show may have a chance to redeem itself. The show's co-creator and executive producer revealed that an alternate ending exists, and will be made available to motivated viewers. Carter Bays tweeted the news Friday, announcing the alternate ending will be included on the Season Nine DVD and in the series box set. The long-running series ended March 31, with an episode that took a few unexpected turns, including death, divorce, and the polarizing reunion of Ted and Robin. The How I Met Your Mother Complete Series DVD Collection is due out this fall.

Singer-songwriter Joan Osbourne, best known for her song "One of Us," will release her eight studio album, Love and Hate. Country singer Martina McBride will release a collection of R&B and Soul covers, entitled Everlasting. And former Red Hot Chili Peppers’ guitarist John Frusciante will release Enclosure, his 12th solo album.
