Macklemore & Ryan Lewis took their first Grammy Awards by storm last night. The hip-hop duo was named best new artist, as well as three major rap awards: best performance and best song for "Thrift Shop" and best album for The Heist. Daft Punk's album Random Access Memories picked up two Grammys, for best dance/electronica album and engineered album, and their single "Get Lucky" featuring Pharrell Williams was named best pop duo/group performance. New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde was shocked to win best pop solo performance for her breakthrough hit "Royals," and Jay Z won best rap/ sung collaboration for "Holy Grail" featuring Justin Timberlake. He gave the cutest acceptance speech of the night, giving a shoutout to his baby daughter Blue Ivy: "Daddy got a gold sippy cup for you!"
