Beyonce was named the most-searched person in 2013 on the online search engine Bing, edging out 2012's list-topper, reality television star Kim Kardashian, who came in second. Women continued to dominate the most-searched list for a second year running, as singers Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Madonna rounded out the top five. Justin Bieber, who ranked second place in 2012, dropped to sixth this year. Rapper Nicki Minaj and pop singer Miley Cyrus, who both made the list in 2012, also were in the top 10, joined by troubled actress Amanda Bynes, who came in at No. 8.

Barbara Walters has released the names of all but the individual she'll deem the most fascinating person of the year during her annual special on December 18, which will be the retiring broadcaster's last-ever. Among those who made the cut are Jennifer Lawrence, Miley Cyrus, Pope Francis, the stars of Duck Dynasty, Edward Snowden, Kimye (i.e., the two-headed breeding monster that is Kim Kardashian and Kanye West) and Prince George. It'll be interesting to see what that last interview consists of, considering the tiny royal has yet to utter a decipherable word.

The prototypes aren’t yet available for sale, which is a shame because they seemed like they would be big Christmas hit.
