Chris Brown is going back to rehab, this time by order of the court. Brown appeared in court yesterday with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran, where he was ordered to spend three months in a residential rehab facility and to submit to drug testing. He is also required to perform at least 24 hours of community service each week. Brown voluntarily checked himself into rehab for anger management last month, and a court-obtained document reveals that he was kicked out of the center after a violent meltdown in which he threw a rock through his mother's car.
Lady Gaga's new album ARTPOP topped the charts this week, but it has to be noted that ARTPOP reached the top selling just 258,000 copies. (Compare that to the 792,000 copies of Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP 2 sold in its opening week last week). Are the low numbers symptomatic of the decline of record sales, or a sign that Gaga's appeal is starting to wear off? Regardless, Gaga has hinted that she may be releasing a sequel to ARTPOP. When MSN asked about her touring plans, she replied, "By then, as well, I might have act two out from the album, and it might be nice to play both 'acts' on the tour."
Sean Penn went nuts at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco on Tuesday night when a fan -- not a paparazzo -- tried to take a cell phone picture of him. A witness tells TMZ that Penn grabbed the man's phone, threw it on the ground and screamed, "Do we look like f**king zoo animals?" TMZ has video of the end of the confrontation, when Penn yells after the man, "I'll make you eat the phone... get the f**k out of here!!" Hotel management allegedly asked the man if he wanted to call the police, but he declined and left the hotel.
