Just a week after telling Jay Leno that she and new husband Brandon Blackstock were "trying like rabbits" to make a baby, Kelly Clarkson has announced that she is expecting her first child. The singer announced her big news on Twitter, writing, “I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever." Clarkson is also stepmom to Blackstock's two children with his ex-wife, Savannah and Seth.
Katy Perry premiered the gorgeous music video for her new single "Unconditionally" on MTV last night. Inspired by glossy film adaptations of period novels Dangerous Liaisons and Anna Karenina, it features the pop star holding court in a fabulous ballroom while exquisitely costumed dancers move around her. There are exploding flowers and a car that crashes into Katy and crumbles into pieces. What inspired the song itself? One Direction's new album Midnight Memories leaked on Monday, a full week ahead of its November 25 release date, and the boys aren't happy about it. "It is annoying because there's this big build-up and it affects sales," says Liam Payne. "We really want a No. 1, so we're just kind of hoping for the best now." Louis Tomlinson adds, "It's just frustrating when you work so hard on an album and you kind of want everyone to hear it at the same time." Payne took a shot at the leakers, saying, "There are some very clever people out there. You're buggers!"
