Chris Brown is in trouble. Again. The singer, 24, was arrested for a felony assault in Washington D.C. on Sunday. Brown and bodyguard Christopher Hollosy were allegedly involved in an altercation with another man outside the W Hotel at 4:25 a.m. The victim tells TMZ that he photobombed Brown and two female fans who were getting a picture taken together. Brown was upset and then punched the photobomber who was taken to a hospital to be evaluated but has since been released. Both Brown and Hollosy will be detained until Monday when they have a court appearance.
Julianne Hough has apologized for dressing up in blackface at a Halloween party Friday night. The 25-year-old triggered controversy after she showed up at the Beverly Hills bash as "Crazy Eyes," a character played by Uzo Aduba in the hit Netflix drama Orange Is the New Black. Hough covered her face in dark makeup and wore an orange jumpsuit and prison ID with the words "Crazy Eyes." After uproar began on the Internet over her costume choice, Hough quickly took to Twitter and wrote, "It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize."
Britney Spears' music is being used to scare off Somali pirates. Merchant Navy Officer Rachel Owens tells Metro UK that 'Oops! I Did It Again' and 'Baby One More Time' are the most effective tracks. ''Her songs were chosen by the security team because they thought the pirates would hate them most. These guys can’t stand Western culture or music, making Britney’s hits perfect. It’s so effective the ship’s security rarely needs to resort to firing guns. As soon as the pirates get a blast of Britney, they move on as quickly as they can.''
