John Mayer's new song "Paper Doll" sounds suspiciously like a response to Taylor Swift's "Dear John," the bittersweet tune that was so obviously about Mayer. "You're like 22 girls in one," Mayer sings, "and none of them know what they're running from." The chorus references Swift's summer hit 22, along with "Dear John," in which she sang, "And I'll look back and regret how I ignored when they said, 'Run as fast as you can.' " "Someone's gonna paint you another sky," he continues, calling back to Taylor's lyrics where she says, "You paint me a blue sky and go back and turn it to rain."
Rihanna has scored another hit, this time with her microphone. The singer clubbed a fan who got a little too grabby for her taste during a recent concert in Birmingham, England. While singing "We Found Love," the singer was moving across the floor, past the first row of fans. Naturally, the fans reached out to touch the star. But one got a good grip and tried tugging Rihanna back as she tried to pass. Before security could come to her aid, Rihanna swung her mic down onto the offending fan and walked away.
