Home improvement giant Home Depot and retailer Target have decided to end their deals with Paula Deen. Late in the day, home shopping channel QVC said it has "decided to take a pause" from selling Deen's products. The news comes just one day after Walmart and Caesars Entertainment Corporation announced they would sever ties with Deen amid charges of racist remarks and practices. On the flip side, the upcoming cookbook Paula Deen's New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipes, All Lightened Up has hit #1 on Amazon.com's best sellers list, even though the book doesn't officially hit shelves until October 15.

Michael Jackson's eldest son Prince testified Wednesday in the Jackson Estate's wrongful death suit against AEG Live. Jackson shared how Dr. Conrad Murray told the Jackson children their father had passed away: "Sorry, kids. Dad's dead." He also shared that his sister Paris was hit the hardest by the death, saying, "She was my dad's princess." As for the concert promoters, the 16-year-old recalled his father crying after conversations with AEG Live's CEO and his manager. "They're going to kill me," the King of Pop said, "They're going to kill me." A jury will soon determine if "they," in fact, did.

Will.I.Am is suing Pharrell Williams for starting a brand called 'I Am Other'. He says it's too close to his 'I Am' logo and brand. Pharrell tells Rolling Stone, "I am someone who likes to talk things out and, in fact, I attempted to do just that on many occasions. I am surprised in how this is being handled and I am confident that Will’s trademark claims will ultimately be found to be as merit less and ridiculous as I do."
Chris Brown was charged Tuesday with hit-and-run and driving without a valid license, both misdemeanors stemming from a May fender bender -- and he promptly hit Twitter to proclaim his innocence. Brown called the charges "really ridiculous" and insisted he got out of the car, followed proper procedures and that there was no damage to be found on either vehicle. Chris Brown has been accused of assaulting a woman at a nightclub in California on Saturday night. Deena Gines, 24, claims that Brown deliberately shoved her to the ground and caused her to fall on her knees just as the club was about to close. Gines told TMZ that she has since filed a police report, and shared a photo of herself wearing a knee brace. In response, Brown tweeted -- then deleted -- a request to TMZ to "Stop with the false stories. I usually don't comment, but I didn't do anything. " Meanwhile, Brown's rep issued a strong statement to USA TODAY in which she called the reports "totally false and unfounded."
Las Vegas Indoor Skydiving has confirmed that Bieber is banned for life after he used the facility and then backed out of the payment deal he arranged with the company. Apparently, Bieber and his crew hit the establishment just minutes before it was closing. The pop star was told that he could either pay $1,600 for his party, or give the facility publicity on Instagram as payment. Bieber promised to give them a shoutout. But he never did. A source tells E! News that in addition to stiffing the facility, Bieber and his buddies were a "disrespectful bunch," the singer was not very friendly and seemed disconnected from reality.
Country legend Loretta Lynn has teamed with Poison frontman Bret Michaels for his new solo album, covering "Every Rose Has a Thorn." The track appears on Jammin' With Friends, which Michaels will release tomorrow. Michaels had Thanksgiving over at Loretta's and she came up with the idea to record the song. Michaels grew up in a family that loved country music and Coal Miner's Daughter. In fact, he once recorded a country rock album called Freedom of Sound.

Demi Lovato's biological father has passed away. Patrick Lovato, who'd been estranged from his famous daughter in recent years, had been suffering from prostate cancer. Demi has had no immediate public comment. X Factor boss Simon Cowell tweeted Demi, saying, "My thoughts are with you." Patrick Lovato told Us Weekly he had tried reaching out to his estranged daughter, saying, "It is not like I want anything from her; all I want is her love."
E! News has confirmed that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their baby North West. The baby's nickname: "Nori." Back in March, Kim had denied that she was going to name the baby North West when asked about it. The family itself has not confirmed the name. John Mayer's new song "Paper Doll" sounds suspiciously like a response to Taylor Swift's "Dear John," the bittersweet tune that was so obviously about Mayer. Amanda Bynes reportedly attacked a man she believed took her photo in the lobby of Atlantic City casino over the weekend. The former Nickelodeon child star demanded the man hand over his iPhone, then began screaming and chasing him around the lobby of the casino. When security stepped in, it was revealed that the guy's shot of Amanda didn't even turn out. He missed the actress, and got only the floor. "They're obsessed with The Smurfs. We've seen The Smurfs movie a million, trillion times." The two even appear in the music video for the song. But that doesn't mean that Britney's boys think she's cool. "My sons are 6 and 7, so they're just now getting to the stage of where you can't kiss mommy in front of your friends and all that kind of stuff," she explained. TMZ reports that Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are living together again, after he convinced her that he's taking sobriety seriously. Sharon had insisted she wouldn't take Ozzy back until he cleaned up his act, even moving out of the family home into the Beverly Hills Hotel for several months. However, after attending the Daytime Emmys on Sunday night, the couple returned to their home together. But Sharon isn't taking chances: She's reportedly hired a "sober team" to monitor the rocker 24/7.
Melissa McCarthy has finally broken her silence on critic Rex Reed calling her a "female hippo" and "tractor-sized" in his mean-spirited review of Identity Thief. McCarthy told the New York Times that she feels bad for someone who is "swimming in so much hate" while she is in such a happy spot. She also conceded that while she would've been "crushed" to hear those comments when she was 20, they don't bother her now. Justin Bieber was escorted out of L.A. nightclub Lure on Saturday evening after trying to sneakin.. The club had told Bieber's people earlier that they would not allow him in because he was underage. He showed up anyway. Bieber was attempting to sneak in through the back door when The Game, who was performing onstage, spotted the pop star and gave him a shout out. Oops. Security immediately grabbed the 19-year-old and escorted him out. E! News reports, "He seemed really embarrassed."
Simon Cowell got egged during the live final of Britain's Got Talent on Saturday. Two opera-singing brothers were singing, when a woman marched on stage and began throwing eggs at Simon and the other judges. Unlike the eggs, the brothers didn't break. Simon, who had just tweeted his disdain for eggs the day before, joked, "Now I really don't like them." The egg-thrower is a violinist named Natalie Holt. She says she was taking a stand "against Simon and his dreadful influence on the music industry". She has since issued an apology: "I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do," she wrote.
Maybe it is a good idea that Justin Bieber has booked a flight to leave planet Earth on Virgin Galactic. Audio of him going off on a paparazzo has hit the Internet, following allegations that he stole a cameraman's memory card after snapshots were taken of him exiting a Miami recording studio early Wednesday morning. Bieber can be heard screaming at his security guards, "Grab that camera! Get that f**king camera out of here!" When the photographer begs the popstar not to take the camera, Bieber insists on taking his SIM card. The photographer then offers to delete the photos, but Bieber still refuses to hand it over. Police are investigating the incident.

Paris Jackson is "physically fine" and "getting appropriate medical attention" after an early-morning suicide attempt Tuesday. She took 20 Motrins and cut her arm with a kitchen knife. Since Paris' suicide attempt, the Jacksons' family attorney Perry R. Sanders, Jr. released a statement that reads in part: "Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you." He also shared that while the family appreciates the public's concern, they ask that their privacy be respected regarding the matter.
Max George of The Wanted is worried his friend, former flame and party pal Lindsay Lohan won't want to hang out with the group once she completes rehab. There's just one problem: TMZ has documented at least four times Jenner and West were together: Kourtney's baby shower, an X-Factor, a Clippers game, and the Kardashian family Christmas party. Kim is reportedly not happy that her stepdad made it sound like Kanye isn't interested in her and her family.

Sad news out of Hawaii: The mother of Bruno Mars died suddenly Saturday in Honolulu of a brain aneurysm, a spokesperson for Mars' label revealed. Bernadette Hernandez was 55. No other details were provided. Hernandez was a hula dancer and singer who her six children's interest in music from an early age. Another son, Eric, is a brother in Bruno's band, while her four daughters are currently in a girl group.
