Kelly Clarkson ripped music exec Clive Davis yesterday. She wrote: ''So I just heard Clive Davis is releasing a memoir and spreading false information about me and my music. I refuse to be bullied and I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation for myself and for my fans. It feels like a violation. Growing up is awesome because you learn you don't have to cower to anyone - even Clive Davis. First, he says I burst into 'hysterical sobbing' in his office when he demanded 'Since You Been Gone' be on my album. Not true at all. His stories and songs are mixed up. But, yes, I did cry in his office once. I cried after I played him a song I had written about my life called 'Because Of You.' I cried because he hated it and told me verbatim that I was a 's**tty writer who should be grateful for the gifts that he bestows upon me.''He continued on about how the song didn't rhyme and how I should just shut up and sing. This was devastating coming from a man who I, as a young girl, considered a musical hero and was so honored to work with. But, again, what's most interesting about his story is what he leaves out: He doesn't mention how he stood up in front of his company at a convention and belittled me and my music and completely sabotaged the entire project. It never had a chance to reach it's full potential. 'My December' was an album I needed to make for myself for many reasons and the fact that I was so completely disregarded and disrespected was so disheartening, there really aren't words to explain....Anyway, I love my job. I love my music. I love my fans. I love my label and all of my professional relationships... now. And I am grateful for Clive for teaching me to know the difference.' Clive responded: ''As anyone who has read “The Soundtrack of My Life” knows, I think Kelly Clarkson is a tremendous vocal talent and performer. In the book, I provide an in-depth look at our years together during which we shared major multi-platinum success, as well as a few creative differences. I am truly very sorry that she has decided to take issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together. Before the book was published, I had every fact checked with five independent individuals who were present on a daily basis throughout it all. The chapter as it is written was thoroughly verified by each and every one of them. I stand by the chapter as written in my book. At the same time I wish, and will always wish, Kelly’s talent and her career to soar to ever new heights.''
Vin Diesel's cover of Rihanna's ''Stay'' garnered him a job offer. He says, ''I had dinner with my dad and surprisingly... he said he loved it... and thought it was deep on a few levels. But he used all of the stereotypes associated with black people.” All parties filed complaints.

A Hollywood reporter claims FOX wants to end American Idol with Simon, Randy and Paula judging the season. She writes: ''They want the judges from the first season together again for the final season – Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell. That way they can end the show the way it began. Randy, the only original judge still on Idol, is perfectly willing to stay for another year, and Paula is totally up for it. Simon, of course, is playing hard to get – partly because he’s currently on The X-Factor, and partly because he likes to be difficult.''

He said, "There are 10 songs on this one, but the average length of each song is seven, eight minutes. We made it to listen from top to bottom. It's not so much a narrative or a story, but sonically we really made it to listen from top to bottom." Meanwhile, Justin explains why he took such a long amount of time away from recording new music. He said, "I would have taken a break regardless of if I would've done films or not because my last record was all-consuming and to go on tour like that, for me, I will not be the type of artist that puts out 10 to 15 albums."

He said, "I didn't want it to be another bulls - t celebrity fragrance that I was hocking, that I didn't believe in. At the end of the day, I can definitely say I wanted to change the perception of that. On paper, I'm not a fan of the [genre], but I got excited having conversations with ID Perfumes. I wanted to do something understated and elegant - something that people I revere in that world, like Tom Ford, would do, and something I'd be attracted to. I like basic fragrances. I didn't want to smell like a department store. And there's an intimacy level that you have to think about. You don't really want someone to smell you unless they're really close to you."

According to the National Enquirer, Mariah has caught on and she is not having it. A source said, "Mariah considers Nicki to be more of a pest than anything, like a buzzing gnat. They've always bad-mouthed each other, but Mariah hit the roof when she heard Jennifer called Nicki and offered to help her become the most popular 'American Idol' judge. Jennifer is instructing Nicki on everything, from how to treat contestants to what to wear. Mariah was so upset she called Jennifer directly and told her to butt out! Many thought that since Justin introduced his breakup song, "Cry Me a River" by saying, "sometimes in life, you think you found the one, but then one day you find out that she is just some b*tch," -- he was obviously talking about Britney. Especially since he once essentially confirmed in a 2011 interview that he wrote the song about his breakup from Britney.
