Father's Day Gifts
Yikes! It's Father's Day already?

If that's how you responded when you looked at this week's calendar and discovered Dad's special day is right around the corner, there's good news. A host of retailers are offering last-minute deals for those who have yet to buy a gift for Dad, and the deals are particularly good if you're buying online.

FreeShipping.org suggests you check out these 10 deals, most of which require coupon codes:

Home Depot will cut $5 off your $50 purchase through June 12. Use code HDDAD5.

Sears is providing an extra 15 percent off men's clothing and accessories through June 16. Use code DAD13.

Harry & David will take 10 percent off orders of $39, 15 percent off $59 or 20 percent off $99 through June 16. Use code HERO.

Cabela's is cutting its shipping costs to $5 with orders of $99 or more through June 16. Use code 3DADSDAY.

Finish Line will take $10 off orders of $75 or more through June 30. Use code 10LES75.

Macy's will provide free shipping on orders of $100 plus $25 off a Tommy Hilfiger Men's purchase through June 16. Use code TOMMY.

JCPenney is offering 15 percent off any order or 20 percent off orders of $100 or more, plus free shipping on $50, through June 14. Use code 2STYLE.

Kohl's will take an additional 15 percent off select men's clothing and shoes through June 16. Use Kohl's promo code DADSDAY15.

Sierra Trading Post and Best Buy are also having big Father's Day sales. No codes required.

Meanwhile, if your dad is a fix-it type, Deals2Buy suggests this cool semiautomatic screwdriver, which is just $30 and heavily discounted just in time for Dad's day.

If he's outdoorsy and you don't mind dropping a few Benjamins, you can get a Char-Broil 3-Burner Propane Tru-Infrared grill with Side Burner for only $198 at Walmart.com.

Or you can save up 40 percent off tackle boxes at Cabela's. EBay also has some fishing and hiking deals you might want to consider: $17 lures or a $22 backpack.

If Dad's a sports fan, consider the 25 percent off deal from Shopko.com.

The cool dad might prefer shades, and they're discounted by as much as 40 percent at SolsticeSunglasses.com.

Diesel Time Frames is also having a Father's Day sale. Check out its website: DieselTimeFrames.com.

If you have no money to spend, you should know that some organizations are offering Father's Day freebies, such as free zoo passes and movie rentals. For more details, check out this post at MrFreestuff.com.

Do you leave a tip?
  • Domino’s Testing Pizza-Delivery Drones

  • Domino’s Pizza is testing a drone delivery service in the U.K., with the potential for it to be used in America. "We're looking at making flying pizzas a possibility," Tom Hatton, founder of creative agency T + Biscuits, told ABC News. "We're serious about it." During a test flight, the custom-built octacopter made a four-mile, 10-minute flight through the city of London to deliver two large pepperoni pizzas. Given logistics and safety regulations, it’s possible that the pizza drone is just the focus of a viral video rather than something that will ever make its way to the 10,000 worldwide Domino’s locations, but it’s much more real than the proposed “Tacocopter.”
