Consecutive Back Handsprings Record
(DALLAS, TEXAS) A high school cheerleader established a new World Record for back handsprings. During halftime at her school’s football game, Miranda Ferguson took to the field in front of a cheering crowd. She traveled 70-yards doing a total of 35 consecutive back handsprings.
Witnesses from the Guinness World Records were on hand to certify the event. Afterward, Miranda said (quote) “I’m extremely excited, but also really relieved. I was really nervous that if I did one more that I was just going to fall. My spinning head isn't too bad, but my back is kind of sore. I'm sure I'm going to feel it tomorrow.”
