Katy Perry and John Mayer have broken up again, both Us Weekly and People magazine are reporting. No details on why the couple split, and Us Weekly's sources don't seem all that convinced the break is permanent. "She's leaving the window open," said one, "They have both been so focused on work." Katy's in the studio recording her third album, while John's returning to the road following the throat surgery that's knocked him back the past year.
Rod Stewart has recorded his first album of original material in 20 years. Time will be out May 7. The first single, "She Makes Me Happy," is out now. Rod admits that the writing muse had slipped away the past couple decades. However, writing his memoir kick-started his creative juices. "Suddenly lyrics were piling up in my head," he says. Next thing he knew, he had a song called "It's Over" about divorce and separation. Then more new songs came pouring out. He says he'd wake up in the middle of the night, scrambling for a pen to write things down.
Pink stopped her concert mid-song on Sunday night to assist a crying little girl. She was belting out "Who Knew" at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center when she noticed the girl and ordered her band to stop. She demanded, "Is this little girl all right? What's going on? Why is she crying? Why is she upset?" Concertgoers informed Pink that the girl had gotten upset over a fight that had broke out. Pink responded, "You guys are fighting around a little girl?!" The singer's mama instincts kicked in, and she asked the girl if she wanted a frog and a Rice Krispies treat. The girl said yes, was brought up on stage and shyly accepted the gifts. Pink thanked the girl, than lectured the crowd. "Cut it out, y'all," she ordered, "We're grown-a** women."
