Simon Cowell has made his first real comments about his pending fatherhood, telling the BBC "I'm proud to be a dad." The X-Factor judge suggested that he wasn't always keen on the idea of becoming a parent, but now he's "feeling good about it." In fact, Simon is sounding downright sunny. "Things in my life are changing for the better," he said, adding that baby-mama Lauren Silverman is "a very special girl."
Britney Spears surprised fans on Tuesday morning when she posted a mysterious countdown on her website. The clock, which simply reads, "Britney Spears: All Eyes On Me," counts down by the second to 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 17. The 31-year-old singer has been teasing a comeback for weeks, telling fans last week that her new music will arrive "MUCH sooner than you think." Earlier this week, producer Naughty Boy spoke about the project, explaining, "It's not out for another couple of weeks, but we've just started working on tracks for her until the studio session." No word from Spears as to whether "All Eyes On Me" will be the title of her upcoming eighth studio album.
The NY Post claims Justin Timberlake and N Sync will perform together at the MTV VMA's on Sunday. A source tells E!, "They're in Miami right now trying to put something together, if anything at all. It may not be a performance. They wanted to make sure that 'N Sync was acknowledged as a major part of Justin's success. They were together for 10 years before he went solo."
